British Chapter member Neville Shulman CBE (FI’93), author, explorer, mountaineer, theatre and film adviser, has undertaken expeditions and explorations to many strange and remote places including Outer Mongolia, China, Tibet, Bhutan, India, Ecuador, Venezuela, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Every year he undertakes expeditions to raise funds for charitable causes and, in aid of Cancer Research and Action for Children, was a member of the last expedition team permitted to climb The Three Gorges in Southern China before the government-organised flooding of them took place.
He has kindly agreed to tell members of The Travellers Club together with members of The Explorers Club about some of his adventures. His illustrated talk will range across both polar regions, jungles, rainforest and many mountains, and also include his Zen philosophy of travelling and stories from Hollywood.
Neville was awarded the British Chapter Medal for Exploration and is a tireless supporter of the Explorers Club.
